Check security to avoid an incident

Crime Prevention Sergeant Garry Tuffin said during recent incidents in Beechboro residents had been inside their home when intruders had entered through an unlocked door or window.

‘A resident fell asleep watching TV and woke to find a door open and her purse missing,’ he said.

‘The last thing you want is to surprise an intruder as you have no idea as to how they will react.’
