The Chisolm Catholic College Year 12 student said she was looking forward to playing a more complex character than she was able to as Mrs Teapot.
“Her character has a big heart but she is rebellious and craving attention,” Stefanie said. “The previous characters I played were more one-dimensional.”
Year 12 student Lachlan Dowson will play Ren McCormack, who Lachlan says he can identify with.
“It wasn’t hard to get into character,” he said.
“He is outgoing and sarcastic, and I’m naturally like that anyway. I’ve enjoyed it; it’s been a good laugh.”
Production director Taiwo Sanusi said his cast this year had been a pleasure to work with.
“We wanted to do something that the kids would enjoy, something they could relate to,” Mr Sanusi said. “The way they have embraced the characterisation is amazing.
