Kids can also take part in a petting zoo, face painting, bouncy castles, camel rides and an inflatable obstacle course.

The Rotary Club of Morley will be running a sausage sizzle fundraiser.

Mayor Dan Bull said the City was proud to host the event each year.

“Our prime riverside location at the heart of Perth’s inner east makes Bayswater the ideal destination to celebrate one of the country’s biggest white water races,” he said.

“Racing by kayak, canoe or power dinghy – what better place to finish the gruelling two-day competition than the picturesque Riverside Gardens?”

Parking for the event will via Slade Street and King William Street only.

Dogs must be kept on a lead.
