COLLIER Road will be closed for four days as part of the final NorthLink WA construction works in the area.

The final stage of road construction involved building two roundabouts on Collier Road with one lane of traffic in each direction.

These roundabouts will remain in place during construction of the new ramps linking Tonkin Highway to Collier Road and until traffic signals are commissioned on the new Collier Road interchange.

Once completed, Tonkin Highway will expand to six lanes and traffic will become free-flowing with the removal of traffic lights at Collier Road, Morley Drive and Benara Road.

Collier Road between Wright Street and Grey and Jackson streets will be closed from Friday, January 12, 7pm to Wednesday, January 17, 5am.

Traffic on Tonkin Highway will be redirected under the new Collier Road bridge, creating a free-flowing journey from Perth Airport to Reid Highway and Tonkin Highway intersection on January 13.
