The City of Stirling project accommodates informal soccer, basketball and hockey.

Mayor Giovanni Italiano said the completion of the multi-court was another step towards the completion of the Des Penman Master Plan.

‘This works consists of the demolition of four clubrooms, a new central community facility to primarily accommodate Australian Rules, bowls, tennis and cricket clubs,’ Cr Italiano said.

The centre would also have more parking, lawn bowling greens and hard tennis courts.
