Dan Bull retains Bayswater council seat

CURRENT Bayswater Mayor Dan Bull has retained his West ward councillor seat as the sole candidate.

The Western Australian Electoral Commission declared the unopposed win after nominations closed on September 12.

Cr Bull was first elected in 2015 and became Mayor in 2017.

He will put his hand up again for the mayoral position, which is voted by fellow councillors.

He thanked his supporters for helping him through his campaign.

“I am humbled and honoured and also excited about serving our community for the next four years to the best of my ability with passion, accountability and integrity,” he said.

“Thank you to everyone who has helped me prepare for the campaign.

“It is sincerely appreciated.”
