Owner Renee Benson, of Dayton, said it was exciting to open the first yoga studio in Morley, which was an “amazing city within the city”.

“It is great to see how much community involvement there has been in such a short period of time,” she said.

“We really want to focus on bringing more people in the fitness and wellness space and helping people to be able to deal with stresses of life.”

Ms Benson, a yoga instructor of four years, said she hoped to collaborate with other local businesses in the fitness and wellness industry.

Her studio’s philosophy was to create “movement for every body and everybody”.

“I love teaching but I really want to be able to expand that, teach more and shape the philosophy of the studio,” she said.

The studio currently has a $50 for 50 days promotion which will end on Australia Day.
