Dianella family hit Lotto jackpot

A DIANELLA family was left “blindsided” after claiming a $30 million Lotto prize.

The man, who did not want to be named, said the only other thing he had won was a box of crabs.

“This has completely blindsided me,” he said.

“We had absolutely no idea how much we’d won on our ticket, we were just told by a retailer that it would be a good idea to go to head office.”

The regular Lotto players said it had been a hard year financially for their small business but this would certainly make up for it.

“I’ve always worked and worked and tried my hardest to get where I am,” he said.

“Everything was just out of reach but not anymore.”
