DIANELLA resident Mark Bernardi will compete in his 15th City to Surf event this month as part of the Activ All Stars team.
The 32-year-old will join four other competitors who live with a disability and take on the full series; five races in Karratha, Geraldton, Albany, Busselton and the Perth “flagship” race.
Mr Bernadi works at Activ Business Services Osborne Park, and lives in an Activ-supported home.
He competed in his first City to Surf as a 13-year-old but this is the first time he will do the series.
Mr Bernadi will be supported by Activ team leader Gemma Harrison and has trained with physiotherapist Blake Sutcliffe.
There have only been 68 series finishers.
The City to Surf for Activ will be held August 28, with regional events in July and August.
