MAJOR Crash officers are investigating the death of a woman (41) after her car rolled over her in Dianella about 5.15pm yesterday.
According to WA Police, the crash occurred when the woman stopped a grey Hyundai i30 hatchback, 2008 model in a driveway at a residence on Grand Promenade.
“It is believed that as the woman got out of her car to open a garage door, the car began to move backwards,” Sergeant Patrick Lynch said.
“It is believed that as she tried to stop the car from rolling backwards the woman was struck by the vehicle, fell to the ground and became trapped underneath.

READ NOW“The car collided with a wall before coming to a stop on the main carriageway of Grand Promenade.
“The female received life threatening injuries and died a short time later at Royal Perth Hospital.”
