“I encourage all business owners and workers to comment on the draft Malaga Local Area Plan before consultation closes on May 6,” he said.

“It’s important that the community continues to engage with the consultation process so that we can get it right.”

Whiteman Ward councillor Maria Haynes said effective planning in Malaga would benefit the whole City.

“Malaga is a major employment and industrial centre for the City of Swan and entire north-east region of Perth,” she said.

“As Malaga continues to grow, it’s essential that we have a clear picture of community concerns and proposed solutions.

“To get involved, you can view the draft plan at the Ballajura Community Library, the City’s administration centre in Midland, or on the City’s website.”
