The West Coast Eagles fan from Bayswater is going to his first AFL game on May 31.
Shannon (10) suffers from a rare and life-threatening condition called asphyxiating thoracic dystrophy, or Jeune syndrome, an inherited bone growth disorder characterised by a small chest, short ribs and shortened bones.
Every bone in Shannon's body is dislocated and his lungs are the size of a 20-week-old baby's, forcing him to breathe with the help of a ventilator.

READ NOWAfter meeting Shannon and his family earlier this month and hearing their story, the Eastern Reporter endeavoured to make his dream come true.
Last week, Shannon received four tickets to the West Coast Eagles vs Geelong Cats game on May 31 and the chance to watch the players during their warm-up.
A cheeky Shannon couldn't contain his excitement.
Mother Samantha said going to an Eagles game had been a long-held dream of Shannon's.
"In hospital, he would watch the games and no one could interrupt him," she said.
"We even made a bedpan hat for him with the Eagles colours on it.
"He is so excited to go to the game that he hasn't stopped talking about it."
