TWO Ellenbrook schools got into the spirit of Harmony Day and held a joint event.

Ellenbrook Independent and St Helena’s Catholic primary school had more than 1000 students on the oval.

“They all had an awesome time, dancing and singing together as one big, happy family, to celebrate our cultural diversity,” Ellenbrook Independent performing arts specialist teacher Michele Eisenhauer said.

“It was a real sight to behold, the sea of colour and all of the smiling faces.”
