HUNDREDS of small businesses can now reach even more clients with the relaunch of Community Newspaper Group’s LookLocalWA online directory.
LookLocalWA.com.au now allows local businesses to receive requests from customers in real time, directly connecting local customers and local businesses.
It is the only trades and services website specific to Perth.
The more comprehensive nature and added features of the website are already helping businesses like that of Gatecraft owner Peter Stafford.
Mr Stafford said many people looking for trades and services referred to the internet – and if he was looking for a tradesperson, he would start locally.
“If I didn’t have someone recommended to me I would rather look locally because you know they are close by, whereas when you do a Google search they could be miles away and you don’t know who you’re going to get,” he said.
He said the website’s option to include a detailed business profile gave potential customers a better idea of who they were talking to.
“I think it’s more personalised and you get a feel for the company,” he said.
Community Newspaper Group chief executive Alan Clyne said LookLocalWA.com.au was a user-friendly directory with a fresh new look.
“Most importantly, customers can now request quotes for jobs from our advertisers who will receive the request directly to their email, making it easier for everyone,” Mr Clyne said.
People can also like LookLocalWA’s Facebook page for handy tips and tricks for their home.
Backed by Community Newspaper Group, the online directory is a complimentary service for advertisers who utilise the Look Local classifieds section in any of the group’s 17 newspapers.
