More than 100 safety upgrades worth $25 million will be carried out on some of the State’s most dangerous sections of road, under the 2018-19 State Black Spot Program.

This year’s round of black spot funding will go towards improvements at 66 locations in the metropolitan area.

The Black Spot Program is a joint State-local government initiative, with the State Government providing $20 million and local governments funding the remaining $5 million.
