The Black Angus and cheese sausage, and pork and apple cider sausages, won first and second in the gourmet category.

In the poultry category, Mr Mammone’s chicken, roast tomato, cracked pepper and three cheese sausage, and chicken, cheese, chive and corn sausages came first and second.

The wins come after only 16 months of opening and on the back of a first place in the 2013 regional competition. Mr Mammone’s sausages will vie for the State titles this week.
