Google Australia adds colour to Balga Senior High School

ABOUT 90 Google Australia employees brought out paintbrushes to help Balga Senior High School students brighten the school’s brick pillars last week.

The employees joined staff and students for lunch before painting several brick pillars along school walkways for two hours.

The event was part of the ongoing school renewal process.

It was also an initiative that flowed on from the school’s Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (Steam) partnership with Google, which was launched during Term 1.

Principal Mark Carton said the partnership with Google went beyond the Steam project and demonstrated their commitment to improving the students’ learning environment.
