Helga returns: Bassendean’s Tasty Pear gets back its stolen bicycle mascot

THE Tasty Pear’s beloved mascot bicycle Helga was found by some kids and returned to the shop on Saturday.

Co-owner Gillian Cordiner said Helga was now back outside the shop.

“We don’t believe it would happen again… she is far too famous,” she said.

“We believe in fact, there is way more good than bad in the community.

“The visitors keep coming to see her.”

The colourful bike had been stolen on Tuesday February 20.
