The inaugural festival is an evening showcase of short films about the Kimberley, highlighting the natural beauty, wildlife, culture and marine life in the region.
The festival is hosted by the Kimberley Like Nowhere Else group and has run since February across Perth and in Broome.
Event organiser Monique Barker said the Bassendean event would be the eighth show of the festival.

READ NOW“We wanted to engage with our supporters around Bassendean and the eastern suburbs,” she said.
“I approached the Bassendean Bowling Club because it is a great venue to use in the local area.
“We would certainly like to get about 100 people, which we have been pushing for and getting at other screenings.”
