‘It was very overwhelming and humbling to be awarded four awards in such a prestigious competition, and each one furthered my ambitions to continue filmmaking.

‘I would like to think that we got so many votes in the people’s choice award due to the talent of Nick Harle, James Miolin and Ben Armstrong, and the genuine appreciation for the film A Day in the Life of a Librarian,’ he said.

Described by viewers as Summer Heights High meets The Office and Come Fly With Me, A Day in the Life of a Librarian is a YouTube hit.

‘To me it’s just making fun of the key stereotypes that surround librarians,’ Ben said.

‘The video now has more than 78,000 views, which is just a little incomprehensible.

‘The cast and I really value and appreciate the ability to review such a range of feedback from the many audiences, which will undoubtedly help us in the future.’
