Light the Night Walk: people gather at UWA to raise money for Leukaemia Foundation

Greig JohnstonEastern Reporter

MORE than 1500 people gathered at UWA last Friday night for the Leukaemia Foundation’s Light the Night walk.

Now in its ninth year, Light the Night raises money to give families affected by blood cancer the emotional support they need and to fund vital research.

More than 60,000 Australians are living with blood cancers including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma, and every day another 35 people are diagnosed.
