LYNNE Bradshaw has been re-elected president of Malaga-based RSPCA.
The businesswoman joins City of Gosnells chief executive Ian Cowie who was returned to his vice president role.
Mrs Bradshaw, first elected as RSPCA president in 2004, said she hoped to continue to increase awareness of WA’s animal welfare issues.
“We are experiencing a very high number of reports of animal cruelty with the inspectors investigating an average of 6200 cruelty reports each year over the last three years which is more than double the reports we received prior to that,” she said.
“The range of animals helped by our inspectors and the staff at the Malaga Animal Care Centre include all kinds of companion animals, livestock and wildlife.”
