Man charged over alleged Kiara home burglary

AN Ellenbrook man has been charged with allegedly damaging a Kiara home last night.

The 53-year-old man allegedly struck the walls of a house on Bridges Rise with a metal pole.

Kiara Police officers forced their way into the home and arrested the man, who was taken to hospital by an ambulance.

He was charged with home burglary and committing criminal damage or destruction of property and possession of a prohibited drug (cannabis).

He was due to appear before Midland Magistrates’ Court today.
