Man charged after vandalism

Scarborough police station officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Neville Patterson said a community member allegedly saw two males spray painting graffiti on a wall at the intersection of Jon Sanders Drive and Herdsman Parade.

He said a patrol of the area led to two males found at the Glendalough Village Shopping Centre allegedly acting suspiciously.

It is alleged one of the males was found to be in possession of paint markers.

The other male was questioned by police officers and released without any charges.

A 24-year-old Westminster man was charged with two counts of criminal damage and one count of possessing an article used for graffiti.
