Man charged with indecent act

A 65-year-old man has been charged with committing an indecent act in public after an incident involving two teenage girls.

On April 17, the man allegedly parked his car near where the two girls, aged 15 and 16, were waiting for a bus at the intersection of Nollamara Avenue and Wanneroo Road in Nollamara.

He allegedly called out to the girls while committing an indecent act.

When their bus arrived the girls told the driver about the incident, and also informed police.

The man has since been arrested and will appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court on May 18.
