A WESTMINSTER man is in a serious but stable condition after he was shot three times by an unknown assailant in his own garage overnight.

Just after 8pm on Sunday, the 25 year-old man was in his home’s garage on Poynings Street when an unknown person approached him.

The perpetrator allegedly fired a gun at him and hit him on the left ankle.

The victim tried to escape into the house, but was shot twice more on the hip before the offender fled the scene.
