A MAN’s body has been found at a house in Eden Hill.

Forensic police and detectives are at the scene as officers try to determine whether or not there was foul play following the grim discovery in Esther Street.

Speaking to the media, Inspector Simon Hazell said family members found the man, who is in his 30s, at about 9.30am on Monday.

Kiara Police, Midland detectives and forensic officers will continue investigations at the scene into the night.

Inspector Hazell said the investigation was in its very early stages and urged anyone with any information to come forward.

“About 9.30am, a male person in his 30s was located deceased at an address at Esther Street in Eden Hill,” he said.

“He was located by family members. They’re fairly upset but they are assisting police with their inquiries.”

He added: “There is insufficient evidence at this stage to say whether this death is suspicious or not.

“This is an on-going investigation. The man lived at the address but we are unsure of other occupants.

“This crime scene will remain tonight and possibly into the morning as well.”
