“Both vehicles sustained front-end damage and fortunately the 25 year old female driver of the Mazda was not injured.”

The 34-year-old driver was detained soon after the crash after he allegedly attempted to flee police.

Officers seized a clip seal bag containing powder near the scene, which they allege was dumped by the accused.

The alleged offender suffered a medical condition, which police say is unrelated to the crash, and was taken to Midland hospital.

Police are yet to lay charges.
