Morley dancers face Sydney battle

The group of five from John Forrest Secondary College started their own hip hop crew last year and have created and choreographed their own routines during their lunch breaks and after school.

Dance teacher Glendah Migro said the varsity win was an outstanding achievement and the students were excited at the prospect of the trip.

‘In 2012 they were crowned the state champions in the hip-hop section at the Australian Cheer and Dance championships, however due to financial constraints, could not fly to Melbourne to represent WA. This year we are hoping to make it happen,’ she said
