MORLEY Primary School students have used their creative minds to produce hundreds of artworks for the school’s first art exhibition.

Paintings, collages and sculptures will be on display at the exhibition on Thursday night.

The event will feature an opening performance from the school choir, performances from Morley Senior High School students, a silent auction of whole class pieces and a raffle.

Funds raised from the raffle and auction will contribute to school projects.

Principal Nicole Kovalevs said the students were proud to showcase 320 artworks at the exhibition.

“The teachers have been really creative in their planning and programming,” she said.

“We have got a very diverse cultural community and many people who don’t have English as their first language.“So, art is something we can all share together without any language.”

Ms Kovalevs said the school aimed to hold a public exhibition next year.
