Morley: Southern Aurora Spiral to twist through Marriott Way Christmas Lights display

Kristie LimEastern Reporter

MORLEY resident John Roe’s long-standing Marriott Way Christmas Lights display will feature a WA-first Southern Aurora Spiral Twister for the first time.

For the past 26 years, Mr Roe’s House of Roe display has been viewed by local residents and people from across the state.

With more than 200,000 LED lights and an once-off Southern Aurora show, Mr Roe said it would be a “breathtaking” experience.

“People can walk up to the lights or park nearby.”

He said after 26 years, he would love to keep going but this year might be his last.

Viewers can donate $2 to watch the lights, with proceeds going towards the Cancer Council Western Australia.

The display on 22 Marriott Way, Morley will run from November 24 to December 30.
