CITY of Bayswater residents who live on a green street can nominate for a new award.

The City has launched a Most Sustainable Street Award.

The winning street will have a sign displayed and receive $500 towards buying plants, worm farms or run an environment workshop.

Mayor Dan Bull said the City was looking for streets with solar panels, waterwise gardens, composting and good recycling habits.

Forms are available on the City’s website and can be emailed to mail@bayswater.wa.gov.au, posted to PO Box 467, Morley WA 6943 or dropped off at the civic centre.
