About 7.50pm, police officers saw the rider run a red light at the corner of Hepburn Avenue and Alexander Drive in Landsdale.
The officers followed the rider along Hepburn Avenue up to Beechboro Road in Ballajura where they managed to block the vehicle and arrest the rider.
After searching the rider and the motorcycle, officers found cash, a small amount of cannabis and a clip seal bag containing a white powder believed to be methylamphetamine.
