Mundaring: Police charge man (45) over fatal crash that killed Bayswater motorcyclist

POLICE have charged a 45-year-old man over a crash that claimed the life of a Bayswater motorcyclist.

Major Crash Investigators say the 45-year-old man was driving a Toyota Hilux towing a box trailer at 10.55am on Sunday, November 4 in Mundaring.

The man was driving in a south-easterly direction along Phillips Road when he allegedly turned right onto Coppin Road, into the path of an oncoming motorcycle.

The 55-year-old motorcyclist received critical injuries in the crash and died in hospital from his injuries.

The 45-year-old Mundaring man was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death.

He will appear before the Midland Magistrates Court on Friday, December 7.
