A scaffold tower will be in place from this Saturday to show how high the new waterslide will be.

“Since my family became owners of The Maze in 2006, we have been hard at work to constantly enhance the guest experience, pioneer best practice in safety and increase visitation to the region,” Outback Splash director Paul Woodcock said.

“The first water attraction on the site was completed in 2014, with the introduction of a three storey-high waterslide playground with two tube slides, two flume slides, toddler’s slides, a tipping bucket and a range of water cannons and interactive play features.

The second stage was completed in 2017 with the opening of the Octopus Bay kids splash zone, designed especially for toddlers. The new waterslides opening in summer 2019, have been designed particularly for teenagers and adults.”

Tourism Council WA chief executive Evan Hall said Outback Splash had worked tirelessly over the past eight years so that Perth residents, along with intrastate and international visitors, could enjoy world-class water attractions in the Swan Valley.

Polin Waterparks & Swimplex Aquatics will build the waterslide tower.
