FOUR people were taken to hospital overnight following two separate crashes.
The first was about 7pm near the intersection of Beach Road and Alexander Drive in Mirrabooka.
The three-car collision crushed the front end of one car and sent another into a ditch.
A woman and a 68-year-old man were injured and taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
The next was about 4am near the intersection of Wanneroo Road and Amelia Street in Balcatta when a sedan t-boned an SUV.
Fire crews had to use the jaws of life to cut one driver from the wreck by removing the boot and peeling off the car roof.
A 24-year-old male driver and 31-year-old woman were rushed to Royal Perth Hospital and are in a serious condition.
