Perth Father Guilty of Daughter’s Sexual Abuse

A PERTH father has admitted to sexually abusing his 13-year-old daughter and offering her to other men for sex.

The man, who cannot be named, pleaded guilty to more than 220 offences appearing via video link in Perth Magistrates Court from Hakea prison this morning.

The offences, committed over a two-year period, include sexually penetrating a child known to be a lineal relative, three counts of stupefying with intent to commit an indictable offence and 148 counts of aggravated indecent recording of a child under 13 years.

He is due to appear in the District Court on April 1.

Six other men are still facing court in relation to the police operation, in which officers laid more than 500 charges in July last year.

An eighth man, Dawid Volmer of Banksia Grove, was sentenced to 10-and-a-half years in jail in November.

Lawyer Patti Chong, representing one of the men Mark Wesley Liggins (47), denied her client’s involvement in the girl’s abuse, saying his charges did not relate to this victim.

The remaining alleged offenders are Wanneroo man Nicholas Adam Beer (35), Benjamin Simon Clarke (47) from Bedfordale, Alfred John Impicciatore (45) of Wembley, Attadale resident Ryan Trevor Clegg (42) and Bunbury man Troy Phillip Milbourne (41).
