PERTH pin-up model Nicole Nichols has landed a prized gig in the US.

The burlesque artist and vintage blogger, who is better known as Miss Lady Lace, will take part in the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend’s Pin-up Contest in April.

“I was accepted out of more than 200 applications worldwide,” she said.

“It’s the largest international contest of this style in the world and I’m the first Perth lady to ever be accepted to this prestigious event.”

The 26-year-old Lockridge resident has a busy schedule at Fringe World Festival before heading to the US in April.

She is in seven shows, including Burlesque Idol from January 28.

“I tried not to take on too much this year,” she said.

“I was originally planning to be in one show but I got a few offers I couldn’t pass up.”
