Chamber ensembles comprising musicians from each orchestra section will appear in Hawaiian-owned properties over the next 12 months.
Ensembles will be accompanied by PSO Street Team members who will share insights with the community on the local music scene, give away merchandise and information on the instruments being played.
PSO Director Bourby Webster said the inspiration came from her memories of visiting cities in the UK where she heard young classical musicians pumping out Vivaldi, Mozart on a street corner.
