IT’S the old question – would you keep working if you won Lotto?
A few months ago a Bayswater teacher pondered the scenario – but now the thought is a very real question.
After checking his ticket on Sunday morning the educator made sure his sums were adding up before confirming the win.
“At first I thought we had five numbers and I was like “great I have won $1000”, but turns out it was more like a million,” he said.
“When I showed my wife the numbers she burst out laughing.
“Earlier this year I hypothetically said to myself that if I won Lotto I would keep working.”
True to his word, despite winning more than $1.6 million, he still plans to work, however he will now be able to buy a dream home for his growing family.
