Perth traffic delays in multiple areas

THIS morning’s drive might be moving a little slow for you in multiple areas of Perth.

Main Roads has reported delays north, south and central of the city.

In North Fremantle, traffic lights are blacked out at the intersection of Tydeman Road and Napier Road. A boom gate has also malfunctioned. The signals had been restored as of 8.20am.

On the Mitchell Freeway heading north, a truck breakdown has caused all lanes to be affected between Vincent Street and Powis Street. There is also a traffic jam in the left lane of the Northbridge Tunnel westbound after a vehicle breakdown. The Mitchell Freeway near Vincent Street and the vehicle breakdown in the tunnel had been cleared as of 8.20am.

On Mounts Bay Road heading into the city, the right lane is at a crawl prior to the Old Brewery in Crawley.

And on Leach Highway westbound after Kwinana Freeway, the right lane is blocked because a of a breakdown in Bateman. The breakdown had been cleared as of 8.05am.
