Perth weather: you can stand under my umbrella

BEST to pack that umbrella on the way to work today with a very high chance of showers this morning and a possible thunder storm later on.

The Bureau of Meteorology says 8mm to 15mm of rain could fall in the morning becoming less likely in the afternoon and evening.

We’re headed for a max 16C and it could get a little chilly overnight with a 5C minimum predicted.

Today’s temperature reached a low of 10.4C at 5.40am.

The rain is expected to dry up somewhat tomorrow but the weekend could be one for binge watching that show everyone has told you about with the rain expected to return amid blustery conditions on both days and the chance of a thunderstorm on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

The Bureau predicts 17C for tomorrow, 20C for Saturday and 19C to wrap up the weekend.
