IF you haven’t serviced your car for a while, you may want to avoid these suburbs.
The RAC has released a list of the top 20 breakdown hotspots in the metro area.
The Perth CBD, predictably given the volume of cars flooding through there each day, claimed top spot on the list.

But second was a surprise, with the southern suburb of Canning Vale the next-most prevalent.
Morley came in at number three, with Joondalup and Dianella rounding out the top five.
RAC Roadside Assistance patrolman Cameron Dargan said nearly half of all their callouts are for problems that could be prevented with correct vehicle maintenance.
“In our latest RAC Patrol Survey, we found 47 per cent of the jobs we are called out to could have been avoided if the driver had their car serviced regularly,” Mr Dargan said.
“Another 43 per cent could have been avoided had the driver performed basic maintenance on the car, such as checking oil, water and tyre pressure.
“Looking after your car will help you avoid getting stuck.
“Make sure you get it serviced regularly, and pop the bonnet every once in a while to check your oil and water.
“If you’re unsure of exactly what you’re looking at when you’re under the bonnet, the owner’s manual in your glove box is a handy and useful guide.”
