Money raised from the sale of this year’s Dogs’ Refuge Home calendar totalled $20,000 with all featured pound hounds finding new homes.

Refuge president Karen Rhodes said the shelter was grateful to City Farmers for sponsoring the calendars for the third consecutive year, and promoting it in its 18 WA stores.

‘The calendars are fantastic because they raise funds and awareness of our four-legged residents, some of whom had been living at the refuge for many months, and they’re a great way for the local community to support our ongoing rescue work,’ she said.

The funds will go towards upgrading the home’s oldest kennel block as well as rescuing and re-homing more dogs.
