Woman in shock after police car crashes into Dianella house

A POLICE car has crashed into a Dianella home after officers lost control of the vehicle while chasing a car.

Around 12.45pm on Wednesday, police saw an allegedly stolen vehicle on Mirrabooka Avenue in Dianella.

They were following the vehicle on Verbena Avenue when the driver of the police car lost control and crashed through gates at the front of the house, plowing into the lounge room.

A woman who was home at the time of the incident was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment for shock.

Three officers were in the police car and none was injured.

The allegedly stolen vehicle left the scene, and police are investigating the matter.
