Police continue on-going investigation at Bayswater industrial site

POLICE are continuing their investigation at a Bayswater industrial site, as part of a search for suspected murder victim Rebecca Delalande.

Forensics were at the site on Mooney Street this morning.

A police spokesman said investigations were on-going.

Ms Delalande (then 23) was last seen in November 2001 but police had only become aware of her disappearance last year.

In relation to her disappearance, Cold Case Homicide Squad Detectives charged Rockingham man Chris Blennerhassett (45) with murder.

He appeared before Perth Magistrates Court on November 3 and remained in police custody.

He was due to reappear before Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on November 28.
