Police hunt man who pushed over man using walking frame

POLICE are hunting a man who pushed a 65-year-old man using a walking frame to the ground and robbed him.

Last Thursday, about 6.40pm, the victim was walking with the aid of a frame along Rosher Road, near the intersection of McLeod Street, towards Altone Road.

A man on a bicycle approached him from behind and pushed him in the back.

The man fell forwards to the ground and his wallet fell out of a basket attached to the frame and it was picked up by the man who then rode off on his bicycle.

The man is described as being in his late teens or early 20s, with tanned skin, thin to medium build and brown hair. He was wearing a baseball cap, dark coloured top and light coloured long pants.

The victim was uninjured as a result of this incident.

Police have released an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
