Police investigate Bennett Springs armed robbery

MIDLAND detectives are searching for two men who stole a mobile phone during an armed robbery at a Bennett Springs home.

About 5.20pm on May 9, two men in their 30s were selling a mobile phone and preparing to meet the potential buyers at their Fin Place home.

Two men arrived to buy the phone.

One of the men grabbed the phone and ran away while the two victims stopped the second man from leaving.

A WA police spokesman said the first man returned to the home and was believed to be armed with a weapon.

He threatened the victims and both men left the area in a blue sedan.
