Police investigate Dianella home robbery

MIRRABOOKA Detectives are calling on the public for information on a robbery at Dianella home.

About 11.15pm on February 5, a woman in her 40s arrived at her home in Ashington Street and parked her car in the driveway.

A dark red Mitsubishi Lancer sedan pulled in behind her and a man came out of the driver’s door armed with a metal bar.

A woman came out from the passenger seat also holding a metal bar.

The woman got into the back of the victim’s car and pulled her hair.

The victim also noticed another man at the scene but could not describe his features.

She managed to run from her car to a neighbour’s house where police were called.

A short time later, she discovered her house was broken into and her car was not stolen.

The man is described as light-skinned, between 25 and 35 year sold, 180cm tall, short fair hair, solid build and wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants.

The woman is described as olive-skinned, between 25 and 35 years old, 170cm tall, slim build, brown hair and wearing a dark hoodie.

Detectives are asking for anyone with dash cam footage from the area on February 5 from 11pm to 11.45pm, particularly around Ashington Street or near Des Hoffman Reserve, Dianella to assist with their investigation.
