POLICE are investigating an assault and robbery in a home in Beechboro on Sunday.
About 11.30am, a man entered the house and assaulted a woman in her 40s before stealing a sum of cash.
The man fled the area on foot.
He is described as being 20 to 35 years old, about 180cm tall and of medium build, with brown skin, long black hair, a moustache and cropped facial hair.

He was wearing a dark hooded top, blue jeans and a light coloured baseball cap.
